The Area
It is impossible not to be won over by the culinary art of this region, in the heart of the Food-valley, with an old wine and food tradition, surrounded by beautiful landscapes. These lands produce with care and dedication, simple and wholesome food such as Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, Salami from Felino, Parma ham, Wines from the Hills and Black Truffle from Fragno.

Nature
The Monte Fuso natural park stretches between the towns of Tizzano Val Parma and Neviano degli Arduini. It was established in 1972 and belongs to the municipality of Parma.
The park offers various activities: horseback riding, hiking, archery and mountain bike itineraries. In this extensive network of trails is not difficult to find traces of squirrels, dormice, foxes, badgers, deer, fallow deer and mouflons.
Castles
A journey through time surrounded by art, ancient villages, castles, medieval fortresses and fascinating legends that make this area absolutely fascinating and mysterious.

The Fortress of San Vitale in Fontanellato, Torrechiara Castle, La Rocca dei Rossi of San Secondo, the Palace of Colorno, the Fortress of Soragna. Each village is a mix of poetry and history.

The municipality of Neviano degli Arduini is part of the famous Matilda of Canossa lands, renowned for their castles and for the presence of ancient churches and historic villages. In this vast area, the civilization of the Middle Ages is still present in the marks left on the territory, in food traditions and people’s traditions which have kept a strong link with history.

Fairs and Festivals
From June to October, every third Sunday of the month, the municipalities in the area of Neviano host markets where it is possible to taste and buy genuine organic delights: wheat, barley, cereals, chestnuts, biscuits, bread, honey, jams, juices and herbs.
The Nevianese Oasis hosts more than 140 farms.
Golf
For those who love to play golf, the surrounding area offers different opportunities. Torre Barbieri is near from the 18 hole golf course of Matilda of Canossa in Cavriago and La Rocca in Sala Baganza.
